I've been steering a prawn trawler since 2007, dedicating my life to the challenges and rewards of commercial fishing. Since 2011, I've also been at the forefront of fighting against radical government reforms that threaten the sustainability and fairness of our industry. Recently, I embraced filmmaking to document the gritty reality and inspiring stories behind our work on the water. I couldn’t imagine a more fulfilling career—one where I not only earn my living at sea but also champion the cause of preserving our marine heritage for future generations.
